Mokichi Okada, also known as Meishu-sama, composed a large number of waka poems on various subjects, in order to convey the essence of his spiritual philosophy in a short form. He taught that by reading and hearing those inspired teachings of truth, we receive Divine Light through our eyes and ears, and are purified - thus awakening our spirit to the truth.

Faith (B)

In this world there are many people receiving God’s love and abundant blessings; yet, they fail to recognize Him.             (Nidai-sama)
There are people who insist there is no God, not realizing that through their own words they are denying their own existence.

The future lives of those without faith are like weeds floating upon moving waters, not knowing where to go.
