Mokichi Okada, also known as Meishu-sama, composed a large number of waka poems on various subjects, in order to convey the essence of his spiritual philosophy in a short form. He taught that by reading and hearing those inspired teachings of truth, we receive Divine Light through our eyes and ears, and are purified - thus awakening our spirit to the truth.

Makoto (B)

Nothing is as precious, as priceless as true makoto. Nothing else has the power to pierce even the hardest iron rock.

Makoto – integrity – is a most priceless treasure, nurtured in the hearts of sincere, honest persons in whom there is no falsehood.
