Mokichi Okada, also known as Meishu-sama, composed a large number of waka poems on various subjects, in order to convey the essence of his spiritual philosophy in a short form. He taught that by reading and hearing those inspired teachings of truth, we receive Divine Light through our eyes and ears, and are purified - thus awakening our spirit to the truth.

Happiness (B)

When people cannot detach themselves from greed and the unlimited desire for material possessions, they ruin themselves in spirit and body.

How tragic it is.
Many are blinded by greed and temporal pleasures, losing sight of the true path to eternal happiness.                     (Nidai-sama)

Freedom of choice is given to everyone.
Thus, we can create either a heaven or hell, according to our own thinking.
